Unpopular opinion time…
I think dreadlocks are ugly and disgusting. Of course everyone is allowed to do whatever they wish to their hair. I just don’t find the look appealing.
That is a pretty ignorant statement. Dreadlocks can be just as versatile as normal hair. There are many people with dreadlocks that keep their hair clean, and take just as much care of it as you do “normal” hair. Like some dread wearers, there are some people with “normal” hair who do not maintain their hair or keep it clean, and like many people with “normal” hair there are many dread wearers that take excellent care of their hair. And just like “normal” hair, dreadlocks can be just as beautiful. So please do not generalize everyone that wears dreadlocks in the same category….Thanks.
